OneRare is proud to release the Beta Testnet of the first zone in our Foodverse — The Gaming Zone.
Our Gaming Zone is spread over four play areas — the Farm, Farmer’s Market, Kitchen & Playground. Players can stake $ORARE to farm for Ingredient NFTs at our Farm, trade them at the Farmer’s Market, cook up Dish NFTs as per Recipes in the Kitchen, and get a sneak peek of Foodtruck Wars at the Playground.
AIM OF BETA TESTNET
Our team released an Alpha Testnet in September 2021 which worked as an MVP/Proof of Concept — allowing people to combine Ingredient NFTs to mint their Dish NFT.
Working on the feedback there on, we have worked hard to bring our Beta version to life. We have a new Staking Pool in our Farm, an improved Farmer’s Market, and some interesting features in our Kitchen (more on this later!)
Now, we need you, our Chefs & Community — to help us with the last kinks before we head to Mainnet. Our team has been working since months to improve the experience, remove bugs and at this point of time, our devs are probably only getting food dreams. Which is why, we need YOUR fresh eyes & love for Food to help us with this last stretch.

OneRare team will be releasing the Testnet this week, so all approved wallets will have game access from Day 1. The team will also keep whitelisting wallets everyday, so you can get Game Access within 24 hours of successfully applying. On being whitelisted, you will automatically receive Test Tokens that will allow you to play.
WHAT’S INSIDE ?
Our Testnet allows you to experience our first three areas in the Gaming Zone — The Farm, Farmer’s Market & the Kitchen. Let’s walk you through the magic that happens here.
1. THE FARM
The Farm features 6 unique Ingredient Pools for staking $ORARE and collecting Ingredient NFTs. Each Pool has a theme, explaining the type of Ingredients you can win from the pool. Farm Fresh will bring you the vegetables & fruits, whereas Sunshine Dairy will carry all Dairy products.
You can stake in as many pools as you want and your staked amount will determine how fast your Ingredient NFT grows ! The more you stake, the faster your crop gets ready. You can also check out the Farm Dashboard to see your current crop progress, claim ready ingredients and adjust your stake.
WHAT’S NEW ?
OneRare introduces the first ever Staking Program for Game NFTs in Blockchain. Users can stake ORARE Token to earn Ingredient NFTs as Rewards in our Pools through our unique smart contract.
2. FARMER’S MARKET
With their ripe harvest, farmers head to the Farmer’s Market — where they can list their NFTs for sale. Enjoy the hustle & bustle of a Farmer’s Market, as Farmers list their produce for dynamic pricing and the shoppers try to get the best deals!
Shopping at the Farmer’s Market can be very fruitful for our Dish Collectors as you can get the exact ingredients you want very quickly.
THE ULTIMATE SHOPPING HACK
OneRare Dishes have a Recipe — a list of Ingredients needed to make the Dish. Avoid getting lost in the market maze by heading to the Dish page and using the Magic Buy Option. Magic Buy (the name says it all!) checks your wallet for all missing ingredients and shops for them with 1 simple click ! So in one swoop, all the Ingredients land up in your wallet and you are one step away from making your dish.
3. THE KITCHEN
The Kitchen is the Heart of OneRare, celebrating dishes from all across the world. Discover Dishes and their recipes, and collect all required ingredients to claim dibs on your favorite foods !
WHAT’S COOKING ?
Once you have the right ingredients for your Recipe, head to the Combine Dish section where the Ingredient NFTs in your wallet will be swapped for the Dish NFT. Just like we make food in the real world, you cannot reverse the OneRare cooking process — once a dish is made, the ingredients are gone !
You must hurry to make your Dish because OneRare Dishes are no ordinary meal. With each minted NFT, the dish difficulty level will increase. So while the first player needs 1 of each ingredient to claim his Dish, the second player will need to collect 3 of every ingredient to claim the Dish again. 1 for the first mint, 3 for the second, 5 for the third and so on — Advantage First Chef !
WHAT COMES NEXT ?
We want our community to experience & challenge our Testnet so we can identify bugs, bottlenecks and inefficiencies. We are finishing our Certik Audit & are on path for Mainnet after this step.
After Mainnet, we will release the first game in our Playground, Foodtruck Wars — where three Chefs battle it out to earn the most for their foodtruck. A Chef is incomplete without their dishes, and so only OneRare Dish NFT Holders can access this game — one more reason to get in early!
We have been prepping & chefing for this day, and we are so glad to finally hit this milestone — bringing Food to our beloved OneRare community. We are excited to bring this Testnet to all of you & work towards building the ultimate Foodverse !
